Why Karpathos Houses?

Every season, we receive countless questions from tourists asking if we know of any nice houses or plots of land for sale. The challenge for us was where to direct them. Here on the island, there isn't really a central real estate hub or listing platform like people are often used to in their home countries. Even our local friends told us they usually don’t know what to say when asked this question, and that’s how Karpathos Houses was born!

We are not a real estate agency, but we want for this website to be the go-to place where you can conveniently view all available options in one easy to navigate place. From houses to plots, as well as resources for architects, accountants, and lawyers. As well as other info regarding having a house on Karpathos.

For all the Dutchies: think of our website as the ‘Funda’ of Karpathos 😉

In addition, we partner with the Greek real estate agency Elxis in case you want to sell your house via a real estate agency. This is ideal for anyone looking to give the property they want to sell more exposure while also having all the paperwork handled professionally. Elxis takes care of visibility and manages all the legal work involved in selling the home. We then conduct property viewings on-site and create photo and video content for the listings and social media. Learn more about collaborating with Elxis.

We are Athina & Vincent

In 2017, we bought our own home on the Greek island of Karpathos. Simply taking vacations wasn't enough for us, so in 2021 we decided to sell our house in the Netherlands.

Since then, we’ve spent a large part of the year living here on Karpathos. In September 2022, we even got married here with 30 of our dear friends flying over to join us. It was such a special experience!

We absolutely love this island: the tranquility, nature, beaches and of course, the great weather. This island is our happy place and we want to share that with you! That’s why we’ve created both The Karpathos Guide and now Karpathos Houses.
